Multiple Sessions

This can be achieved either through an extended session covering a number of hours in succession, or Multiple Sessions which involve a number of sessions of shorter length spread out over a period of days e.g. instead of having one long session of 10 hours, this is broken up into one session of 2 hours in length per day over 5 days.

If you tire easily when activity is intense or if you have a tendency to suffer from sensory overload when activity lasts for a long time, you would be more suited to the Multiple Sessions arrrangement.

Multiple Sessions also has the advantage of being able to concentrate on one or two specialised activities per session in preference to cramming a variety of activities into one long period of time. Although many activities are straightforward to switch between, others do require greater set-up and clean-up times and this can be more readily catered for in sessions dedicated to a unique activity.
